After switching to CyanogenMod 7 from MIUI on my Galaxy S2, the smart dialer and an awesome file manager were what I was missing in CM the most. The dialer in CyanogenMod 7 and many other ROMs/UIs do not have a T9 predictive mode.
exDialer is a smart dialer application with features and design very similar to MIUI’s dialer. It has a neat white dial pad with call log integrated inside. It also includes exContacts, an app to browsing and managing your contacts which is, again, a clone of MIUI’s contacts app.

Behold! Narayan Babu, with his Dexetra team, has built a personal assistant app (sort of), similar to Siri – Iris. Yepp, that’s Siri spelled backwards. What’s interesting to note here is that he built this funky app within 8 hours in a hackathon. The name has also got a crazy expansion - Intelligent Rival Imitator of Siri.
